September 30, 2005 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Web hosting software provider SCPanel.net announced on Friday it has released its new SHOUTcast Hosting control panel, enabling Web hosts to easily create and manage SHOUTcast radio servers in commercial environments.

To date, most SHOUTcast hosting providers have had to set up SHOUTcast servers manually, programming the account set-up, file importation, radio configuration and so forth by hand through a complicated SSH console. SCPanel enables SHOUTcast hosting providers to quickly activate new SHOUTcast servers and manage the accounts with greater control.

SCPanel enables users to restrict SHOUTcast servers by a monthly bandwidth limit, auto-suspend SHOUTcast servers when the bandwidth limit is exceeded, access radio usage statistics, start or stop radio and operate a one-click update system. It can be easily integrated into major Web hosting control panels such as cPanel, Plesk, Ensim and DirectAdmin, as well as act as a stand-alone control panel.
