“Seeing a HACKER SAFE certification mark tells online consumers that sites where they are shopping are protecting their personal data from hackers,” said Ben Tyler, vice president of engineering for ScanAlert. “As a result of the increase in sales our customers report due to earning HACKER SAFE certification, demand for our service is escalating rapidly. Distributing our certification image by means of the Akamai platform enables us to scale our capabilities to meet worldwide demand without further infrastructure build-out.”
