According to Rygroup, the growth for the company is just a part of a larger, and very recent, boom for companies developing value-added offerings targeting the small to medium-sized enterprise market.

Rygroup says there are several factors contributing to the recent rapid development of that market. Server-side technology, for one, has advanced to the point where it can provide the powerful Web site editing functions demanded by SMEs. Easier installation and integration have made value-added solutions more attractive to Service providers as well, says Rygroup, which made sure that its Nocode solution could run on any operating system and featured a simple installation.

“And the third factor,” says Rygroup CEO Leon Young, “is having a licensing model that guarantees the SP’s profitability. We chose to do that by working on a revenue share, so that offering Nocode is immediately cash flow positive for SP’s. We also created a plan based business model, whereby our product would not just encourage, but actively up-sell customers to higher margin plans.”
