(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) – Through a variety of service enhancements, outreach initiatives and aggressive marketing campaigns, web hosting provider Rochen Limited (www.rochen.com) intends on being the world’s largest hosting provider for open-source content management system Jooomla (www.joomla.org).
Rochen is official web host of the Joomla project and its close collaboration with the Joomla development team has enabled it to build a highly-stable, flexible and scalable hosting environment for Joomla installations, according to Rochen’s Wednesday announcement. Rochen is able to identify and patch potential system vulnerabilities in Joomla websites before a threat surfaces.
“Since Joomla’s launch four years ago, Rochen has provided a stable and secure hosting environment ideal for hosting Joomla-powered websites,” Rochen founder and chief executive officer Chris Adams said in a statement. “Today, as the Joomla’s popularity continues to grow, Rochen will take a more central role in the hosting Joomla community. Over the past four years, we have become experts in Joomla hosting, and we have developed a true competitive advantage. From security to scalability, our team understands Joomla.”
Beyond supporting its own Joomla customers, Rochen supports the greater Joomla community, being a sponsor of Joomla Day Pune (www.joomladay.co.in), a community gathering held last month in Pune, India.
Rochen employees were also present at other Joomla Day gatherings in Melbourne, Las Vegas, and Maidstone, a town to the south-east of London, in an effort to continue fostering the next-generation of Joomla development and deployment.
Shared hosting from Rochen starts at $7.95 per month and includes 300MB of RAID10 data storage and 20GB of monthly data transfer. Rochen also offers a variety of managed virtual server and reseller hosting options.
