(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Orlando, Florida-based web host Atlantic.net (www.atlantic.net) has been affected by a substantial price hike by its utility provider Progress Energy (www.progressenergy.com), which it will pass onto customers.
According to a report from a local ABC affiliate, Atlantic.net’s January energy bill, shared with three smaller tenants, came to more than 387,000 due to a 26 percent rate hike from Progress Energy.
