Righteous Software Offers New Backup

November 7, 2006 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Disk-based backup solution provider Righteous Software (r1soft.com) announced on Tuesday it will announce the upcoming release of a new version of its backup software, Righteous Backup for Data Centers, at the company’s booth during ISPCON Fall 2006 (ispcon.com), which kicks off today in Santa Clara, California.

The company says the release of Righteous Backup for Data Centers builds upon the success of its existing offerings designed to support individual Linux servers and hosting control panels.

The software offers hosts the ability to run fully automated, nearly continuous data backups, explains Righteous Software. Additionally, Righteous Backup ensures Web servers remain completely operational and without significant performance reductions during backups.

“The world’s largest data centers will very much appreciate the utmost priority we have placed on scalability with the release of this ground-breaking product,” says David Wartell, Righteous Software founder and CEO. “This product turns disk-based backups into a highly scalable architecture, allowing large data centers to easily and affordably add backup capacity on an as-needed basis using a cluster of servers, solely capable of providing backup and restore services for the entire facility.”
