A week after Deutsche Telekom dropped out of the bidding for Host Europe Group, GoDaddy is reported to be in exclusive talks to acquire HEG, Reuters says.

Citing anonymous sources close to the matter, Reuters says that the addition of HEG would help GoDaddy broaden its customer base in Europe.

GoDaddy recently reported its third quarter results, including a 15 percent year over year growth of revenue to $472.1 million. One particular bright spot in Q3 was its international revenue, which grew bu 27 percent for the quarter.

Sources say that GoDaddy beat out rivals from United Internet and Centerbridge.

Reuters reports that banks are “lining up debt financing to back a potential deal between the two parties, totaling around 1.5 billion euros, or 4.5 times combined EBITDA.”
