(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Colocation and managed provider UnitedLayer (www.unitedlayer.com) announced on Thursday that Black Oak Computer, which does business under the name Reliable Hosting (www.reliablehosting.com), has signed a $1.25 million dollar, three-year, colocation contract with UnitedLayer.
UnitedLayer will provide a range of colocation services for Black Oak Computers at its flagship 200 Paul data center facility in San Francisco.
The colocation services include physical data center floor space for cabinets, power and cooling.
UnitedLayer’s 200 Paul data centers offer fully-redundant N+1 environmental control and power generation systems.

ReliableHosting.com was founded in 1994 as a computer system integrator, and has grown significantly over the years.
It currently manages over 1,000 servers and focuses on meeting high-bandwidth hosting needs.
UnitedLayer provides IP transit, colocation and managed infrastructure services in multiple data centers located throughout North America.
More recently, UnitedLayer named industry-veteran Edward Buck the company’s director of system architecture, where he will be responsible for designing, deploying and managing all systems at the company.
