October 31, 2007 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Managed hosting provider REDPLAID Managed Hosting (redplaid.com) announced on Tuesday it has purchased Acronis True Image Server from SWsoft (swsoft.com) to deliver data backup and recovery services to its dedicated server hosting customers. SWsoft is reselling the solution through an agreement with Acronis (acronis.com).
Developed by Acronis, Acronis True Image Server offers a recovery, backup and disk imaging solution for Linux and Windows with complete system protection and recovery of server, says Acronis.
SWsoft enables service providers to manage the Acronis server through SWsoft Plesk or other control panel interfaces. SWsoft is a member of the Acronis Virtualization Partners alliance program.

REDPLAID announced last month it achieved Gold Certified status in the Microsoft Partner Program with a dual competency in advanced infrastructure solutions with a hosting solutions specialization and networking infrastructure solutions.
