Rebel Networks Revamps Affiliate Program

(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Earlier this week, web hosting provider Rebel Networks (www.rebelnetworks.com) announced that it has re-launched its affiliate program, enabling affiliates to earn up to $300 for a customer referral.

The program offers one-time payments for customer referrals based on the size of the contract. The specifications are laid out on the company’s affiliate page. They’re not complicated, which, according to the website.

“Rebel Networks affiliate program is simple,” says a message on the page, “and that’s why we have successful affiliates.”

One-time affiliate commissions are $100 for any shared hosting for less than $99 per year; $200 for shared hosting plans of more than $100 per year; and $300 for any dedicated server.

“One of our goals in 2009 was to reach out to our existing affiliates and provide them greater tools, greater markets, and a more simplified approach to earning revenue,” says Domenic Macchione of Rebel Networks, quoted in the press release. “This new single payment, high dollar referral system covers these goals.”

The press release describes the company’s philosophy – it doesn’t believe in roping customers into long-term three- or four-year contracts based on low advertized rates. Part of that philosophy, says the company, is reflected in the new affiliate program, which provides payment to the affiliate even if the customer cancels after 90 days.
