August 16, 2002 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Internet media delivery company RealNetworks Inc. (RealNetworks.com) announced on Thursday that it has appointed Merrill Brown to the position of senior vice president.

Brown will be responsible for RealOne services for the Americas, including RealOne SuperPass, RealOne GamePass and other of the company?s subscription and advertising products. RealNetworks says Brown is experienced in news and digital media development, having worked as senior vice president and editor-in-chief at MSNBC.com.
