(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — IT infrastructure management solutions provider Raritan (www.raritan.com) announced on Tuesday it has named Stuart Hopper as its new VP of sales and marketing of Europe (www.raritan.eu).
He will replace Gerard Heuvel who will be pursuing other interests. Hopper will lead Raritan’s European offices in The Netherlands, England, Germany and France, helping drive business by building on accelerating momentum in its intelligent power and data center infrastructure management market space.
He will accomplish this by assessing the needs of the existing channel and by developing propositions for both new and existing channel partners.
“I am very pleased to welcome Mr. Stuart Hopper to join Raritan to lead our European sales and marketing,” says Ching-I Hsu, Raritan’s chairman and CEO. “This appointment reflects Raritan’s commitment to further expanding its success and growth in the region. Stuart brings with him a wealth of experience, skills and leadership to lead Raritan to the next level in Europe.”
Hopper has 25 years experience in IT sales and sales management, having worked with channel partners in a wide range of solution areas including storage and computer hardware, services and software.
He has served in positions at several high technology companies including Nokia, Unysis, Compaq and Digital Equipment.
Raritan provides power management, infrastructure management, KVM and serial solutions for data centers, helping them boost power management efficiency, improve data center productivity and enhance branch office operations.
Along with Federspiel Controls, Power Assure, and Teladata, Raritan will be hosting the “Energy Savings Now” summit on September 9th, which will discuss how data centers can benefit from advances in data center energy management solutions.
