The expansion is part of a planned phase two data center build-out that supports RagingWire’s rapid customer growth and a rising demand for highly available and secure IT solutions prompted by a shift in financial regulations, legislation and insurance mandates. The company expects the build-out to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2004.

RagingWire is also making a strong effort to acquire a class A facility in an additional market to expand nationally. Both expansion efforts will support its portfolio of IT monitoring and management services, which contribute more than 70 percent of RagingWire’s overall revenue.

The company’s 200,000-square-foot facility is strategically located in the Sacramento Valley to accommodate San Francisco Bay area companies searching for a safe, offsite location to host and support their important business systems. The region is seismically stable and a short commute from the Bay Area, enabling customers to use their existing IT staff at either location.
