February 21, 2006 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Managed hosting provider Rackspace Managed Hosting (rackspace.com), and open source developer JBoss (jboss.com) announced on Tuesday that they have signed a partnership agreement to create a managed Linux hosting solution called Intensive Hosting for Linux – JBoss Edition.
The managed Linux hosting solution is designed for complex Java Enterprise Edition applications running on JBoss application server.

As the first JBoss-certified hosting partner, Rackspace will resell JBoss subscription support services as an added option for its Intensive enterprise Linux hosting service. Rackspace will deliver the scalable and secure Intensive Hosting for Linux – JBoss Edition.
