Rackspace Hosts DGLP Sites

August 3, 2007 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) –  Digital media sharing and social networking platform DigitalPost Interactive (dglp.com) announced this week it has selected Web hosting provider Rackspace Managed Hosting (rackspace.com) as the hosting provider for its two Web properties, TheFamilyPost.com and WebsitesForHeroes.com.

Rackspace provides an extra layer of security and reliability by providing a 100 percent network uptime guarantee and tools to enable DigitalPost Interactive to recover customer photos, videos and other sensitive data within minutes in the case of a local disaster, says the company.

“We are very committed to protecting the photos, videos, and other priceless memories that our customers post on our sites each and every day,” says Robert Grant, director of technology at DigitalPost Interactive. “In today’s digital age, people need a place online where they can store and share their digital media with confidence. By partnering with Rackspace, we’re raising the bar in terms of reliability, and delivering on our promise of making digital media sharing and social networking a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.”

Rackspace offers global managed hosting solutions, and has partnered with companies like Cisco Systems and Iron Mountain. Rackspace says its Fanatical Support has helped the company become a recognized leader in the global managed hosting market and a trusted business partner for companies concerned about safe-housing critical data.

The company announced last week it teamed up with ComponentOne in order to increase exposure for both companies while adding new value for ComponentOne’s current clients.
