Rackspace, 1&1, Interland Most Reliable

 

July 6, 2005 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosts Rackspace Managed Hosting (rackspace.com), Interland (interland.com) and 1&1 Internet (oneandone.com) had the most reliable Web hosting company Web sites in June, according to data from research and analysis firm Netcraft (netcraft.com).

 

This is the fourth time this year Rackspace has been rated the most reliable hosting company Web site after topping the list in February, March and April.

 

Datasync, Pair Networks, New York Internet, Yahoo!, DataPipe, Go Daddy and Deutsche Telekom rounded out the top ten. Datapipe has been in the top ten for every month this year.

 

According to Netcraft’s data, Linux, FreeBSD and Windows each run on three of the top ten sites with Solaris running on the other. Rackspace and 1&1 Internet run on Linux, while Interland runs on Windows.
