Rack-Soft Offers VoipNow Software for Hosting Firms

(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Service provider software developer Rack-Soft (www.4psa.com), which operates the 4PSA management software, announced last week that it has introduced the VoipNow Core software, a VoIP service delivery platform designed for service providers.

The company says the solution – a key component of the Rack-Soft’s VoipNow Platform – is designed for service providers who want to provide functions like SIP trunking, PSTN gateways and wholesale VoIP services.

The software is designed to enable an organization to build and implement a VoIP system on standard x86 server hardware, using the company’s 4grid cloud technology.

An extensive fact sheet on the VoipNow Core solution – and details on how it fits into the company’s broader platform solution – is available from the product info section of the Rack-Soft website.

“VoipNow Core brings cloud to the telecom world. It has already been deployed in production with many customers who use VoipNow Professional for delivering hosted PBX services. These customers enjoy the flexibility and the ideas behind our unified communications software and want to build the core of their VoIP network using the same principles. With both solutions

integrated in the new VoipNow Platform ecosystem, Service Providers can address different market opportunities while enjoying a platform that scales with the business.” said Bogdan Carstoiu, Rack-Soft’s CEO, quoted in the press release.

Rack-Soft says its software is designed to be compatible with other applications popular among hosting providers, such as Open-Xchange and Parallels Plesk Panel, enabling hosts to add unified communications elements to their existing services.
