August 1, 2007 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Data protection products provider R1Soft (r1soft.com) announced on Wednesday it will showcase its newly released MySQL backup products at LinuxWorld Conference and Expo, the largest event that focuses exclusively on Linux and open source software. The show is scheduled to take place August 6 to 9 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, California.
R1Soft will showcase its line of backup solutions at booth #420 in the exhibit hall, where conference attendees will be able to spin the R1Soft Prize Wheel for a chance to win an assortment of prizes, including backup software for Linux, cash, t-shirts and other promotional items.
“LinuxWorld, as one of the largest open source tradeshows and exhibitions in the world, is an excellent venue to showcase our innovative backup solutions for Linux and MySQL,” says David Wartell, R1Soft founder and CEO. “We are excited to exhibit at this yearÂ’s conference.”
The company’s MySQL data protection add-on module, which is designed to support large or frequently changing databases that cannot tolerate downtime or performance decreases during backups, was initially released in July.
R1Soft demonstrated at HostingCon 2007 last week its MySQL data protection add-on module.
