January 11, 2005 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Data center automation software provider BladeLogic (bladelogic.com) announced on Monday that leading money management firm Putnam Investment had chosen the BladeLogic Operations Manager as its server management platform.

Operations Manager, says BladeLogic is a suite of data center automation solutions designed to enable organizations to more efficiently provision, configure and manage server environments.

Putnam Investments will use Operations Manager to automate the server management lifecycle, including server and software provisioning, application change management, remote administration and ongoing patch and compliance management.
