PowerVPS.com’s virtual dedicated servers deploy SWsoft’s (sw-soft.com) virtualization software Virtuozzo running on enterprise-level Dell (dell.com) hardware. Virtualization software partitions a single dedicated server into multiple virtual servers that behave exactly like stand-alone dedicated servers.

The company said the $9.99 server is the lowest-priced in the industry.
