PowerVPS Adds Monitoring Service

January 16, 2006 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Virtual private server Web hosting provider PowerVPS (powervps.com) announced on Monday it has released an enhanced monitoring service for its customers.

The enhanced monitoring service is based on the Hyperspin Internet Services global monitoring network, which has eight monitoring stations around the globe and monitors thousands of servers on a daily basis.

“Global eCommerce has driven the demand from our customers who needed to ensure not only that their sites stayed operational 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, but they also wanted the assurance that when a problem did arise, someone would be available to resolve any problems in a timely fashion,” says Thomas Kiblin, CEO of PowerVPS. “Our enhanced monitoring service, which is available immediately, meets these customer requirements, and does so in a cost-effective way.”

PowerVPS offers Linux- and Windows-based virtual private servers to customers around the globe. PowerVPS has concentrated exclusively on the virtual private server market since it launched in January 2004.
