June 5, 2002 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Privately-held software development firm Positive Software Corporation (PSoft.net) announced on Tuesday that it has released version 2.1 of its automated Web hosting control panel software H-Sphere.

H-Sphere Version 2.1, says Positive Software, incorporates a range of features including client control panel, admin interface, private label reselling, integrated billing and trouble ticket system. It allows the management of Linux, FreeBSD and Windows 2000 servers as one centralized cluster.

The new version, says the company, improves on the end-user interface and provides billing improvements, a new WebMail client, a strong fraud prevention mechanism as well as several other features. Version 2.1 also fixes several known bugs in the reselling system, integrating the ability to bill resellers? traffic based on usage.

Positive Software says H-Sphere provides complete automation for Web hosting and customer self-care through its powerful Web-based user interface and tight integration with the internal billing system. The software?s billing system is integrated with several payment gateways and provides recurrent billing as well as live, online signups with complete account provisioning.
