Port City Web to Rebuild Site for University Division

October 21, 2003 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Port City Web, LLC (portcityweb.com), a Web hosting provider based in New Hampshire, announced today it has added the University of New Hampshire’s (UNH) Division of Continuing Education & Summer Session (DCE) to its roster of clients. Under the agreement, Port City Web will redesign, rebuild and launch the University’s Web site, scheduled for completion by early this winter.

According to the company, the new UNH site will be powered by GeekTools, a set of Web-based e-mail marketing tools that allows non-technical users to create, send and measure opt-in branded e-mail campaigns, newsletters and announcements; manage customer databases and customers lists; and update Web site content ? all without haveing to write HTML.

“I’m excited about this project because it drives home the flexibility and cost savings of GeekTools,” said Eric Crago, president of Port City Web. “We are modifying GeekTools to fit into their work flow, into the new Web site, and to do the things UNH needs done. If you look at our competition, they want it the other way around – with the customer conforming to them.”

The company said it is also offering a suite of GeekTools designed to power the back-end.
