Pinnacle Cart to Debut PA DSS Compliant Release Next Week

(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Eagerly anticipated, the latest release of Pinnacle Cart will be one of only a handful of carts that are Payment Application Data Security Standard compliant, when it is officially released Thursday, February 18.

According to a company email, Pinnacle Cart v.3.7 is a major release, and reaffirm Pinnacle Cart’s position as one of the most secure applications in the industry. Pinnacle Cart not only makes a client’s cart secure and compliant, but it also helps instill confidence in buyers.

One of the other features is product reviews, allowing customers or even potential customers to comment on and rate products, helping others evaluate the quality and value of products.

As well, there is CSS and XHTML-based template design, marking a major improvement over the tabled version of the application. There are also “drag and drop” design tools to more easily change the placement of anything on the cart’s front end. The template upload feature will also factor heavily in the new release along with plenty of new template designs available to download from the Pinnacle Cart site.

Pinnacle Cart is now integrated with the MoneyBookers payment gateway and Amazon Simple Pay has been added as a supported payment gateway.

The original internal deadline for the launch of version 3.7 was scheduled for February 1, however, this minor delay advances the quality of this product significantly, which has allowed Pinnacle Cart to include new features — some suggested by beta users.

The new release is available for a special pre-order price of $597 before February 18, when the cost of a Pinnacle Cart license will increase to $797.
