(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Phoenix-based data center operator Phoenix NAP (www.phoenixnap.com) announced on Tuesday that it has partnered with data center infrastructure and services provider Datalink (www.datalink.com), to offer that company’s disaster recovery and business continuity services through the Phoenix NAP facility.
“Today’s business environment has caused companies to examine the processes they have in place for mitigating risks and shortening their recovery time objectives following a disruption,” says Phoenix NAP president Ian McClarty, quoted in the announcement. “While Phoenix NAP is designed to meet the physical requirements of a disaster recovery location, effective and robust disaster recovery and business continuity solutions necessitate other areas of expertise, and we are thrilled to have an industry leader like Datalink as a strategic partner to offer them.”
Phoenix NAP opened the doors on its facility, a 160,000 square-foot data center located in Phoenix, Arizona, in mid-June, after a building period in which it announced several major carrier connections into the facility.
According to the announcement, Datalink representatives will join Phoenix NAP at the company’s booth next week at HostingCon, specifically for the purpose of offering up more information on the disaster recovery and business continuity solutions available through the new partnership.
