Phoenix NAP is now offering colocation out of its East Coast data center location in Ashburn, Virginia.
Data center, cloud and hosting provider Phoenix NAP announced on Friday it is now offering colocation out of its East Coast data center location in Ashburn, Virginia.
Phoenix Nap previously only offered colocation services out of its flagship data center in Phoenix.
The move comes the same week as Phoenix NAP signing hosted transaction tax calculation services provider CCH SureTax as a new customer.
Phoenix NAP provides cloud services, dedicated server hosting, colocation, and IaaS technology solutions out of its data centers.
Aside from its Ashburn and Phoenix locations, Phoenix Nap also has an Amsterdam facility operated by Interxion, where it provides a range of connectivity solutions throughout Europe.
“We are thrilled to be able to offer our clients with the option of colocating out of our Ashburn data center,” said Ian McClarty, president of Phoenix NAP. “Expanding our products and services is a priority to our company and as Phoenix NAP continues to grow we are continuously looking to provide top-level solutions that will further benefit our growing client base.”
Phoenix NAP customers will now be able to deploy colocation services out of its Phoenix and Ashburn data centers.
Both carrier neutral data centers feature redundant power and cooling infrastructure along with comprehensive security systems and are specifically designed for high-density colocation deployments.
The new Ashburn colocation services is the latest Phoenix NAP Cloud solution as services that the company has introduced in multiple locations. The company says it will develop and launch other multi-location services in the future as demand warrants.
Last week, Phoenix NAP added firewall and storage capabilities to its Secured Servers offering.
