January 25, 2008 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Managed hosting provider and data center operator Peak 10 (peak10.com) announced on Friday that the North Carolina Blumenthal Performing Arts Center (blumenthalcenter.org) has renewed its contract with Peak 10. Under the agreement, the hosting provider will continue to provide colocation and disaster recovery services to the performing arts center.
“Peak 10 and the Blumenthal Center have developed a strong partnership over the years and we are excited about the extension of this relationship,” says Pat OBrien, vice president and general manager of Peak 10 Charlotte. “They continue to enrich our community with remarkable entertainment and creative youth programs and so much more – it is an honor to have them as a partner.”
Since its inception in 1992, the center has opened its doors to approximately 5.1 million people and annually propels $50 million into the local economy, says the organization. Through its Education Institute, the Blumenthal Center offers curriculum-enhancing programs for area students in classrooms, studios, theaters and community centers.
Earlier this week, Peak 10 said it will host a live Web cast entitled, Strategies for Leveraging Managed Hosting in Your IT Environment, at 11:30 a.m. EST on February 20.
