August 3, 2007 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Data center operator and managed hosting provider Peak 10 (peak10.com) announced on Thursday it recently hosted an exeCConnect (theexecconnect.com) luncheon on Tuesday at its Raleigh, North Carolina data center.
The luncheon was attended by area executives and featured a presentation by LendingTree chief information officer, Scott Guilfoyle, entitled “Success Breeds Need: Challenges, Opportunities and Visions for Building a National Leader.” Peak 10 and Ironworks Consulting (ironworks.com) were exclusive sponsors of the event.
Guilfoyle shared the LendingTree story with attendees, pinpointing the challenges the company has faced and how it eventually overcame them in the competitive real estate market. Guilfoyle talked about how he offers a unique perspective in auditing current company processes while encouraging the executives in attendance to do the same at their own companies.
“We were glad that Scott agreed to be our guest speaker at Peak 10,” says Greg Rollet, vice president and general manager of Peak 10 Raleigh. “It’s refreshing to have an executive from a market other than RTP to come in, spend time and talk with area executives. Gaining business perspectives from one another is what the exeCConnect is all about.”
Peak 10 announced yesterday it hosted the live July 26 Web cast “Virtualization for Business: Implementing an Effective Strategy for Primary and Secondary Sites.”
