February 17, 2005 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Data center and managed services provider Peak 10 (peak10.com) announced on Thursday it will host an educational Web seminar on disaster recovery and business continuity online February 24, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. The Web seminar will discuss the importance of disaster recovery and business continuity solutions as well as their availability and affordability to small and medium-sized businesses.

Agility Recovery Solutions' (formerly GE Capital IT Disaster Recovery) chairman Bill Boyd will give the keynote address. Boyd is also the former chairman and chief executive of music, messaging and sound systems provider Muzak, where he was rewarded the 2001 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year (Carolinas Region) award for enhancing the company's growth, corporate culture and brand.

Boyd's presentation, says Peak 10, will provide insight, perspective and real world lessons on disaster recovery and business continuity solutions. The Webinar will also discuss Recovery Express, Peak 10's subscription service that protects businesses from disasters such as flooding, massive power outages, hurricanes or other unexpected events that can halt normal businesses operations.
