December 16, 2004 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Northeast Data Vault (nedatavault.com), a provider of colocation, Web hosting and data center services, announced on Thursday that the National Football League’s New England Patriots have consolidated the team’s Web site operations at the Northeast Data Vault?s data center in Marlborough, Massachusetts. The company said the Patriots’ move to NorthEast Data Vault is part of the recently completed re-launch of its Web site.

The New England Patriots were the first NFL team with a Web site, back in 1995.

The Kraft Group, which owns and operates the New England Patriots, has been a Northeast Data Vault customer since 1998, hosting most of the Web site operations for the Patriots and Gillette Stadium, home of the Patriots, with the firm.

According to NEDV, the company continues to play a growing role in The Kraft Group’s technology strategy.

The Patriots also retained NEDV business partner SplitStream Technologies (splitstreamtech.com) to procure and deploy the necessary servers and applications in NEDV’s data center, help migrate the content of the various Web sites, and cut over to the new infrastructure.
