According to the company’s Monday announcement, Parallels Operations Automation 2.8′s new SaaS Module makes it easier for service providers to offer third-party applications to end-user customers, helping hosts interested in SaaS overcome the complexity and manageability issues surrounding SaaS distribution. The new automated control panel provides for levels of flexibility, manageability, ease of use, and the ability to control the end-user’s access to specified SaaS applications.

With a total of 210 new features and functional improvements to version 2.8, Parallels Operations Automation has new capabilities built into the operations system to offer a fully integrated, manageable, scalable and easy to use platform, designed to improve server provisioning anddata center management in order to reduce operational costs and reduce service delivery errors.
Also, its integrated, modular architecture is scalable to meet service providers’ quickly growing business demands, ranging from Hosted Exchange to existing business-grade, third-party applications such as customer relationship management.
