December 10, 2004 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Hosted email solutions provider Outblaze (outblaze.com) announced earlier this week that it has launched Outblaze-SME, an email platform designed for value-added resellers such as Web hosting providers, ISPs and domain registrars targeting the small and medium-sized business market.

The platform, customizable with the reseller’s branding, features administration and collaboration tools that allow SMEs to purchase and allocate storage, as well as administer email, calendar and

file cabinet services through a Web interface.

Outblaze-SME includes POP3, IMAP4 and SMTP protocols, enabling access to email through the Web and mail clients such as Microsoft Outlook and Eudora. Outblaze’s Sentry Anti-Virus and Anti-Spam services provide network?level protection. A Web-based administration level is also available for the reseller.
