Opsware Wins High Utility Ratings

January 19, 2005 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — According to data center software maker Opsware Inc. (opsware.com), the recent Data Center Automation report from Forrester Research rated the company first for lifecycle management of servers, software, network devices and storage.

Opsware says it also received the second highest ranking for utility computing, behind IBM. A group of eight companies, also including HP, Veritas, Sun, BladeLogic, Altiris and BMC, was evaluated in the report, according to key data center automation capabilities.
