November 27, 2006 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Data center automation software developer Opsware (opsware.com) announced on Monday it will host a Webinar addressing the emerging challenges IT departments face managing virtualized computing infrastructure.
Titled “Virtualization: Ready When You Are,” the Webinar will feature IDC research manager Stephen Elliot who will cover a variety of topics and issues including managing the explosive growth of virtual machines in enterprise computing, achieving seamless management across heterogeneous virtualization platforms, managing the process of provisioning, patching and activating servers and deleting virtual machines on a large scale.
Opsware says Elliot specializes in research surrounding enterprise systems management software and his primary area of analysis is on enterprise management markets and the impact its underlying technology has on IT organizations.
The Webinar is slated to take place on December 12 at 11:00 a.m. EST.
