November 13, 2007 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Software as a service delivery provider OpSource (opsource.net) announced on Tuesday it has selected the Oracle (oracle.com) SaaS platform to add support for Oracle Database as a standard component of OpSource’s Web application delivery platform, OpSource On-Demand.
OpSource is a Certified Advantage Partner in the Oracle PartnerNetwork and is adopting the Oracle SaaS Platform to offer Oracle Database to companies that wish to use it for their Web applications.
“OpSource’s proven success in the SaaS arena is expected to significantly benefit companies that wish to base new on-demand applications on Oracle Database,” says John Gawkowski, VP of Oracle platform technology solutions.
The company announced last month it was ranked number three in Deloitte’s Technology Fast 50 program for Silicon Valley.
