October 18, 2005 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Data center automation software developer Opalis Software (opalis.com) announced on Monday that it had released Opalis Integration Server 5.0, a solution for integrating and automating data center operations.

Opalis Integration Server 5.0 integrates server components with management and monitoring tools. The latest version includes new integration packs for vendors such as HP, VMware and EMC, a new multi-tier grid architecture, a 100 percent GUI-approach that avoids scripting and Web-based reporting and dashboarding.

Opalis says Integration Server automates manual processes without the need for scripting or professional services, enabling reduction in costs and the freeing of IT resources. 

"Opalis Integration Server 5.0 will enable our customers to take a significant step towards achieving self-correcting and self-managing IT systems," says Scott Broder, CEO for Opalis Software.
