OnX Enterprise Solutions has named Michael Cox the company's president of OnX's U.S. Division.
Cloud computing platform OnX Enterprise Solutions announced on Thursday it has named Michael Cox the company’s president of OnX’s U.S. Division.
This marks the fourth major executive to join OnX in less than a year, following the appointments of Paul Khawaja to executive vice president of Canada and chief operating officer, Rosalind Lehman to OnX’s EVP of finance/operations and chief financial officer, and Tom Wagner its senior vice president of OnX’s United States Western Region.
Cox is a technology industry veteran, with three decades of experience including 12 years in senior executive positions at Hewlett-Packard.
In his new role, Cox will oversee the driving of OnX’s U.S. sales growth, fostering new strategic initiatives, including OnX’s on-prem and off-prem offerings.
Additionally, he will help expand existing partnerships with industry leaders including Cisco, EMC, Hitachi Data Systems, HP, IBM, NetApp, Oracle, VMware and other complementary partners.
“Mike has a very impressive track record of both leading and managing successful companies through aggressive growth phases resulting in increased revenue, geographic expansion and continued innovation,” said Ed Vos, OnX president and CEO. “These qualities make him the ideal person to execute our mission as we expand our North American presence, with a focused goal to better serve our growing U.S. client base,” added Vos.
Prior to joining OnX, Cox served as president of Arrow Telecommunications and Collaboration Division.
Prior to that, Cox served as president and CEO of Logicalis from 2003 to 2010.
During this time, he led Logicalis through six acquisitions and grew overall revenue from $170 million to $600 million in the U.S.
Cox served also served as a director on the board of directors of the parent company, Logicalis Group.
Eaerlier in his career, Cox worked at HP for over a decade, where he last served as vice president and general manager of North American sales for the company’s business customer organization.
In this position, Cox was responsible for the organization’s enterprise and commercial sales, marketing and support services in North America.
Cox’s 12-year tenure at HP also included the creation of HP’s industry-focused sales organizations in 1992 and, in 1994, he assisted in the development of a services sales force for HP in the Americas.
