The facility, which was originally owned by Choice One Communications (choiceonecom.com), includes state of the art security, FM 200 fire protection, Liebert industrial class air conditioning and humidity control, a Liebert backup power system and cabling and monitoring.

The company said it is opening the data center in response to market demand and its steady growth in sales. Ty Myers, vice president of sales and marketing for Online Technologies Corporation, said the company hoped to serve the many small and medium-sized businesses who are buying more servers for their Internet service vendors.

Online Technologies Corporation said it plans to maintain its original data center, also based in Ann Arbor, as a redundant facility.
