Verio Attracts Resellers with Free Month of VPS Hosting: Companies looking to boost revenues are finding Verio's Free VPS promotion the right fit for getting started as Hosting Reseller.
March 17, 2005 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Web hosting provider 1&1 Internet (1and1.com) announced on Wednesday that its eShop Web hosting packages will now offer PayPal (paypal.com) as a preferred payment method.
1&1 will assign PayPal as the default payment mode in each of its eShop products, giving it top billing in the eShop's drop-down menus for payment methods. PayPal will also run an email campaign to select merchants offering nine months of free Web hosting, courtesy of 1&1.
"This arrangement brings together two major Internet entities with great reputations for always finding ways to increase the value of their services," says Andreas Gauger, chairman of the board at 1&1 Internet. "Offering feature-rich products at affordable prices has been a hallmark at 1&1 for almost 13 years, and one of the main ways we've consistently accomplished this is by establishing relationships with some of the industry's biggest and most reputable names, like PayPal."
