NYI Provides Colocation Space for ClickBank at NJ Data Center

(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Colocation and data center operator New York Internet (www.nyi.net) announced on Wednesday that online retail outlet ClickBank (www.clickbank.com) has selected NYI’s 999 Frontier Road data center in Bridgewater, New Jersey (www.nyi.net/999frontier) to support its global expansion.

ClickBank is a secure online retail outlet for more than 17,000 digital product vendors and 110,000 active affiliate marketers.

“It is a pleasure to welcome a customer like ClickBank,” says Phillip Koblence, vice president of operations at NYI. “Not only do they recognize all the hard work we put into the facility to assure that it lives up to our reputation, they also understand the ‘NYI Difference.’ Unlike other mission-critical data services providers, we don’t force companies into predetermined tiers. Instead, we combine the technical capabilities of the largest firms with the personalized attention of a boutique to allow companies to create a solution that perfectly fits the needs of their business.”

The facility, which opened last October, is located less than 40 miles from Lower Manhattan. It provides low-latency connectivity for trading platforms, backup processes, and other latency-sensitive applications.

The 40,000-square-foot data center features 24″ raised floor with fire and flood sensors throughout, roof access with clear line-of-sight in all directions, 24-hour staffing, 5MW of power available with 20MW of expandable power, 2N + 1 UPS configuration, 2N generator configuration with an 11,000-gallon fuel tank, power density of over 150 Watts per square foot, and N + 1 redundant cooling.

NYI announced last month it completed the SAS 70 Type II audit report for the Bridgewater data center, assuring its customers are protected by the most current international industry standards for service providers to protect customer data, as put forth by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
