Northwest Data Center, Compuware Team

November 16, 2005 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Compuware Corporation (compuware.com) announced on Tuesday it has partnered with the non-profit Northwest Regional Data Center to host the Compuware Application Reliability Solution. The new partnership, which was announced at the Government Technology Conference Southeast in Atlanta, will deliver application services to its member education and government entities throughout the Southeast United States.

NWRDC members will have access to CARS – Compuware’s complete quality management and testing solution – which will initially be deployed in Florida and Georgia for use in state agencies, local government and K-20 educational institutions.

NWRDC provides IT services and support through a data center designed to deliver customer-specific solutions, including Web hosting and network services, as well as technology training for schools and state agencies. Through the partnership, Compuware will help the NWRDC expand its portfolio of services, and promote the organization’s further growth throughout the Southeastern US.

“Our partnership with Compuware gives us the opportunity to provide our customers the ability, through CARS, to improve the reliability of their applications,” says Dr. Victor Ferreros, director of NWRDC. “It represents not just a partnership between NWRDC and Compuware, but a great marriage of the public and private sectors, helping facilitate our growth strategy.”
