According to Nimsoft’s Tuesday announcement, Unifiedmonitoring.com has aggregated status feeds for leading cloud and SaaS providers on the site, providing prospective users with real-time visibility into the availability and performance of services such as Amazon Web Services and the Rackspace Cloud. The portal also provides historical data and benchmarks that can be used to evaluate performance over time. Beta users can use the free information to evaluate services before using them or to gain insight into services already in use.

Unifiedmonitoring.com offers a window into the performance of the third-party Microsoft Hosted Exchange instances and Google’s Gmail, as well as Software-as-a-Service applications such as Salesforce.com. Any SaaS or cloud vendors that want to participate in the Unifiedmonitoring.com status portal are welcome to apply.
