iNET Interactive has announced today that Nicole Henderson has been named Editor in Chief of the Web Host Industry Review, the leading news and analysis source for the hosted services industry. Ms. Henderson has been covering the hosted services industry in the role of industry analyst at the WHIR since 2010.
A graduate of the Journalism program at Ryerson University, in Toronto, Canada, Ms. Henderson has helped to steer the WHIR’s editorial direction during her time at the publication.
Ms. Henderson succeeds Liam Eagle, who is leaving to pursue other opportunities, having served as Editor in Chief of the WHIR for 10 years.
“I’ve worked with and been interviewed by Nicole, and I’m impressed by not just her journalistic skills, but by her obvious interest in the hosting industry,” says Christian Dawson, COO at ServInt and a founder of the i2Coalition. “Her writing is energetic and genuine and I can’t wait to hear more from her. I commend the WHIR on its choice.”
“We thank Liam for his contributions over the years. He’ll be missed both personally and professionally,” says Troy Augustine, CEO of the WHIR’s parent company, iNET Interactive. “And we’re certain the WHIR is in good hands with Nicole.”
