A screen shot of NGASI App in-the-Cloud Panel
(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Application management software developer NGASI (www.ngasi.com) announced on Wednesday it has launched NGASI App in-the-Cloud Panel.
The new hosted solution follows the recent launch of NGASI Universal App Panel, which enables drag-and-drop deployment of standard Web applications on a local machine, a virtual server, or a remote server.
NGASI App in-the-Cloud Panel is a hosted solution that quickly and easily transforms a company’s Web hosting service to Cloud hosting by enabling drag-and-drop deployment of standard Web applications onto scalable load balanced clouds.
This product creates a solution for customers of compliant data center operators to economically provide application cloud hosting.
Application cloud hosting is considered a level higher up the cloud stack when compared to virtual servers.
NGASI App in-the-Cloud Panel requires a Web hosting account with a service provider that has at least 1 load balancer instance and at least 2 dedicated servers or virtual servers.
The hosted solution currently only supports GoGrid and Softlayer, but will offer support for other service providers in the coming months.
Features include dynamic and elastic auto scaling, resource monitoring, database replication, JAVA, RAILS, GRAILS, Django, PHP/Zend, and RAILO.
NGASI is offering a free trial of NGASI App in-the-Cloud Panel. Users need only to sign up, login to the administrator account, add up to five server assets, and create their user account.
