New York Internet Hosts Metrix Solutions

(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Data services provider New York Internet Company (www.nyi.net) has been selected by VoIP and communication services provider Metrix Solutions (www.metrixsolutions.net) to support all its current Northeastern US data services needs as well as its rollout of IPTV services later in the year.

According to NYI’s Monday announcement, Metrix Solutions’ decision was based on NYI’s combination of personalized support and impressive service record, having recently acheived ranked higest on Netcraft’s (www.netcraft.com) hosting provider surveys from December 2008 to February 2009.

“With voice services, there is absolutely no margin for error,” Metrix Solutions chief executive officer Tim Nomani said in a statement. “In that regard alone, The New York Internet Company is the only choice for businesses like ours that demand 100 percent uptime.”

Metrix Solutions offers competitive VoIP calling plans to small businesses and residential customers. As a facilities-based carrier of long-distance communications, Metrix Solutions also provides international telecommunication services as well as carrier-class, international services in the deregulated, rapidly growing emerging markets.

NYI vice president Phillip Koblence said he looks forward to working and growing with Metrix Solutions. “We know that our 100 percent uptime and 0.0 percent failure rate were crucial in their decision, but what we bring to bear is more than just statistics. The passion of our entire team to work harder and better and smarter is not something that can be measured; it’s something felt by each and every one of our customers.”

Founded in 1996, NYI is based in New York’s Wall Street district and it owns and maintains its own data centers from which it offers a wide range of services including dedicated servers, colocation and virtual web hosting for the financial services industry, as well as other industries, including media, law, fashion, architecture, and real estate.
