February 29, 2008 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Domain registrar and Web hosting provider Network Solutions (networksolutions.com) announced on Thursday that it has appointed Travis Fore the company’s senior vice president of sales.
In this new role, Fore will build and lead Network Solutions’ national telesales and direct sales teams to provide small business customers e-business solutions. Fore is based at Network Solutions’ corporate headquarters in Herndon, Virginia.
“Travis has a strong track record of creating successful sales organizations and delivering results for customers,” says Roy Dunbar, CEO of Network Solutions. “I am very pleased that Travis has joined our team, as he and his organization play an important role in our company’s growth strategy.”
Formerly the VP of sales and service at Citysearch, Fore was in charge of recruiting, hiring and training of sales and service professionals. At Citysearch, he established the sales and service group in the Atlanta market, and consistently exceeded revenue and customer acquisition objectives.
Network Solutions was hit with a federal class action lawsuit on Monday for allegedly front-running domain names.
