June 14, 2001 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Hosting company NetNation Communications, Inc. (NetNation.com), today announced a strategic alliance with Dominion Information Services, a part of the Verizon family. NetNation, through its wholly-owned subsidiary, DomainPeople, Inc., will be providing Top Level Domains (TLDs) to Dominion Information Services (Dominioninfo.com), a firm geared toward the promotion and sales of Directory Advertising and New Media business solutions. TLDs “.com”, “.net”, “.org” and “.ca” will be offered at a new Dominion web site (to be launched at a later date) through DomainPeople’s co-branded package.

DomainPeople’s Partner Branded (www.domainpeople.com/partnerbranded.cfm) program will allow Dominion customers to register domain names through a secure, user-friendly, ordering system. The agreement also has provisions for DomainPeople to provide branded forms, payment and account processing, activity reports, as well as 24/7 customer service, technical support and registration management to Dominion.

Dominion’s new domain name registration services will be promoted by over 100 of Dominion’s Sales Representatives. Future plans are for DomainPeople to offer the new Top Level Domains (TLDs) – “.info”, “.biz”, “.pro”, “.name”, “.coop”, “.aero” and “.museum”, when available, to Dominion customers.
