A chart shows the top ten most reliable web hosting sites for March
(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) – Web analytics firm Netcraft (www.netcraft.com) announced on Wednesday that the most reliable hosting website in March was dinahosting (www.dinahosting.com).
In February, Datapipe was awarded the top spot for the second consecutive month. This month Datapipe moved down to the fifth spot on the list.
Netcraft says dinahosting has been offering hosting since 2002 and has 25 facilties in Madrid, Spain. dinahosting has additional DNS servers in London and Dallas.
Virtual Internet was in second place with eight failed requests in March.
iWeb came in third place. The company rebranded its corporate identity this week as well. iWeb came in seventh place last month.
Rounding out the top ten list are Kattare Internet Services, Datapipe, Rackspace, INetU, www.logicworks.net, www.qubenet.net and Swishmail.
Six of the sites in March were running on Linux, including each company within the top four. Two used FreeBSD and one used F5 BIG-IP.
Netcraft measures and posts the response times of about 40 leading hosting providers websites each month. The measurements are made at fifteen minute intervals from separate points around the Internet.
