January 23, 2007 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting provider Netcetera (netcetera.im) announced on Tuesday it has established partnerships with Gridiron Holdings and EuroNet. The announcement was made at ICEi, an international casino e-gaming exhibition taking place at Earls Court in London, UK.
Netcetera says it will host Gridiron Holdings’ betabuddy.com, a new social networking site for sports enthusiasts and EuroNet’s new Big Bingo Network, a UK-based online bingo network.
Gridiron has selected a dedicated server package from Netcetera to host its Web presence. The company describes its Betabuddy as the MySpace of office pools and fantasy gaming for the casual sports wagering community. Euronet, a Turks and Caicos company, owns and operates the Big Bingo Network, which was developed using software by GameWorkz Limited.
“Given the changeable market environments around the world, more e-gaming companies are choosing to host in the Isle of Man to get access to the best infrastructure along with the attractive low-tax incentives,” says Peter Skelton, managing director at Netcetera. “Our new Isle of Man data port gives them the world-class infrastructure necessary for successful operations. Gridiron’s new P2P Web site is typical of the innovative e-gaming businesses choosing to host with us and the new Big Bingo Network is set to become a sector leader that will attract a huge number of players. We are proud to have them as customers.”
