GNi Selected By nCircle
October 20, 2006 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Managed service provider Global Netoptex (gni.com) announced on Tuesday it has signed an agreement to provide colocation space and Internet transit services for vulnerability and risk management solution provider nCircle (ncircle.com).
GNi says it combines multiple redundancy, reliable support, fail-over, recovery and around-the-clock customer support to maximize uptime, eliminate points of failure and provide reliable service for mission-critical applications. The company says it guarantees nearly flawless network availability through its service level agreement.
“We did a competitive review before making our selection,” says Andrew Storms, director of IT for nCircle. “Because nCircle’s goal is to help our customers measure, manage and reduce network security risk, it’s essential that our Internet provider partner is as focused on security as we are. GNi delivers the processes and security we require to support our growing range of managed security services.”
Based in San Jose, California, GNi is a provider of Internet services, which includes wired and wireless connectivity, network security, disaster recovery, server management and Web hosting, networking operations and management and network consulting.
